Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you send a quote request, we collect what you enter: name, phone number, email, city, vehicle, charger type, panel size, where you park, timeline, notes, the page you submitted from, the website that referred you (if your browser shares it), and any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source). We don’t store your IP address with your request. Our host, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.

How we store it

Your request is stored securely in our hosting provider’s (Cloudflare’s) encrypted storage, which only we can access. Stored requests are deleted automatically after about 13 months (400 days), or sooner if you ask.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request and to connect you with one independent, licensed electrician who serves your area. Your request is shared only with that one matched electrician, so they can contact you and quote the job. We may use service providers (such as hosting, email or text-message delivery) to store and pass your request along to them. They may use it only to provide that service and don’t receive it for their own purposes.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with multiple contractors or with lead marketplaces.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box, you agree that we and the one electrician we match you with may call or text you about your request. Consent isn't a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.

Retention and your choices

We keep quote requests for up to about 400 days so we can follow up on your request, answer questions about it and keep a record of your consent; after that they’re deleted automatically. To ask us to access, correct or delete your information, send a request through our contact form with "privacy request" in the notes. The electrician you were referred to keeps their own records under their own policies.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do.
